Tulsi Licorice Root Tulsi Licorice Root (Loose Leaf) combines licorice and complementing spices with three adaptogenic varieties of Tulsi (Krishna, Rama, and Vana). This blend is a sweet licorice brew with a hint of cardamom and a ginger kick. Tulsi, also known as Holy basil, is a plant. It is originally from India and is used in Ayurvedic medicine as an “adaptogen” to counter life’s stresses. The Hindu name for holy basil means "the incomparable one." Steeping Instructions: Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1-2 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 5-7 minutes.
